Minoár garments are designed for long life. In selected cases, the Atelier can review a piece and advise whether repair, restoration, or alteration is possible.

Quality claims
If you believe an item has a manufacturing defect, hidden defect, or other quality issue, please contact Customer Care. Quality claims are reviewed separately from repair requests.
Repairs and restoration
The repair and restoration service is intended for post-purchase repair needs, wear in use, and accidental damage. Repair and restoration work is carried out in-house at the Sofia flagship. Minoár garments are reviewed case by case.
Alterations and fit adjustments
The alteration service applies to selected fit adjustments and other limited changes. Requests that amount to redesign, major structural change, or removal of key design elements may be declined after assessment.
What is not eligible
Not every item or request is eligible for repair or alteration. Cases involving severe material breakdown, non-serviceable components, extensive chemical damage, or work that would compromise the original design may be declined after assessment.
Assessment, timing, charges and shippingEach request is reviewed individually. Minoár confirms whether it should proceed as a quality claim, repair and restoration request, or alteration request.
Intake and assessment
Open a case through the contact form below and send a short description of the issue together with two to four images. After review, the Atelier confirms the relevant service path and advises whether the garment should be submitted for physical assessment.
Timing, scope and charges
Repair and alteration work is assessed on the complexity of the intervention rather than the age or original price of the garment. Scope, timing and any applicable charges are confirmed after assessment and before work begins.
Visibility and limits
Restoration does not return a garment to an unworn state. Depending on the material, location and type of intervention, a repair may be discreet, partially visible or visible.
Shipping and in-person submission
For repair and alteration requests, clients may be asked to ship the garment to the Sofia flagship or bring it in person for review. Shipping and return arrangements are confirmed as part of the case process. Garments submitted for assessment or service must be clean and dry.
